Each morning, I roll out of bed, stretch, and then I say, “Thank You, GOD, for giving me another day”.
“And here I am, we are, O GOD, our God giving thanks to you, praising your splendid Name”
1 Chronicles 29:13 MSG.
Being thankful helps me focus on the good things in my life.
Good things like my:
♥ hubby (who works extremely hard),
♥ parents (who are still alive and kicking),
♥ home (overlooking the Nottawasaga River),
♥ extended family (that includes you—my virtual friends), and . . .
GOOD THINGS LIKE TODAY
AFTER ALL, IT IS THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER. YAY!
Have a Happy Thankful Summer Day,
Tracy
Thankful to our loving and faithful Lord; for family, friends and our many blessings! <3
Thank you for sharing with me, Bette! ❤
Have a beautiful day, Tracy! 🙂 xo
Bette A. Stevens recently posted..Even after all…
And the same to you, Bette!
A great reminder, Tracy! When life is hard, sometimes the first thing we think in the morning isn’t words of thanksgiving. But I’m thankful that our God is faithful, a good Father and redeems every bit of our lives. =)
I need reminding too, Laura!
Thanking for sharing your thankful list.
Lovely sentiments on this fun season. Happy Summer!
Thanks for chiming in, Catherine.
An important reminder. I’m trying to become more consistent at morning prayer myself. I’m thankful for where I live (in a thirteen acre forest), that my body still works okay, and most of all for being loved. 🙂
Cathleen, thanks for sharing your thankful list. A 13 acre forest sounds heavenly. I chuckled when you said you’re thankful your body still works …I feel the same way about mine too. Have a blessed week.
