I’m ba-ack! So grab a cup of coffee or tea and settle in.
Before I introduce Tracy’s next three greeting cards, I’ll share a bit more about her artistic journey.
Once upon a time, Tracy spotted a van plastered with ads for a company selling marketing cards to real estate agents. It parked across from her house.
Tracy set in motion her plan-of-attack with surveillance. She parted the curtains and peered out the window, waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce upon her prey—-a petite, red-haired lady in a blindingly orange suit.
One day, Tracy just “happened” to bump into the van owner. She struck up a conversation, telling the women she painted. Then Tracy asked if the lady would be interested in taking a peek at her designs.
Of course, the owner couldn’t resist. She hired Tracy to design twelve cards. Back home, behind closed curtains, Tracy kicked up her heels and performed her happy dance.
Then reality set in, and the pesky voice came a-knockin’. “Tracy, you’ll never do it.”
It was one thing to get hired, but quite another to actually produce. Tracy swallowed her fear. I can do this!
Tracy sent up prayers and began to draw. She faxed in her designs, made changes, and then painted to her heart’s content. Her deadline loomed overhead. But she delivered the goods.
The following year, she designed another twelve cards for the marketing company.
I don’t want to put you to sleep, so I’ll continue the story next time as I must get to the business at hand.
Are you ready to cast your gaze on Tracy’s next three greeting cards? Good.
Also included on the inside of greeting card #107 is a place to record the date, time, place, who the guest of honor will be, and a line for your guests to R.S.V.P..
Before I fly away, here’s another glowing endorsement we’ve received.
“Buying cards from Tracy finally gave me an exciting reason to check the mailbox! The pictures don’t show how beautiful the cards actually are—shiny, vibrant, and professional. Hallmark…watch out!” – Karen
