A BOUQUET OF PRAISE – CREATIVE TUESDAYS

A BOUQUET OF PRAISE – CREATIVE TUESDAYS

Two weeks ago, I shared that my self-confidence plummeted, but today I’m thrilled to report that after I kept “Looking Up”, I received encouragement by way of a large greeting card order and an order for a pillow.

Gods timing is always perfect. 🙂

The challenge for today’s Creative Tuesdays was to incorporate the flower (shown below) into a bouquet.

Keep Looking Up! Colored with Copic Markers

So… my whimsical flower blossomed into “A Bouquet of Praise”—my way of praising God for all He does, has done, and will continue to do in my life.

“With all my heart
    I praise the Lord,
and with all that I am
    I praise his holy name!”

Psalm 103:1 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

And, even though, my life is not perfect, I will continue to praise Him, and I’ll remember to “Keep Looking Up”.

Now it’s time I pop on over to Michael’s Creative Tuesdays blog to cast my gaze on all the other awesome art. I hope you’ll join me. 🙂

Blessings and Hugs,

Tracy

  1. Oh Tracey,
Praising God for lifting you up – and for your joy that springs forth in this lovely picture. I am joyful just looking at it.
I wondered about meeting at the Elmvale zoo sometime. It is a fun place for pictures and just taking a walk.
The flower at the top praising God is all the expression I need for today.
    Blessings,

    • So happy my expression of praise to God is all you needed to today, Janis. I’ve never been to the Elmvale Zoo and so taking pictures and walking and talking and visiting the animals sounds like the perfect place. I’ll be touch to set up a day and time. 🙂

  2. Tracy,
You are so good about giving God the glory. I think your praise bouquet is delightful and I’d love to see it on notecards, framed art, pillows, and on and on. I am imagining a bedroom decorated in Praise God décor. You could do it!

    • How can I not, God has given me a gift that I need to use. Grin. And you are always so full of outstanding ideas for me. I should hire you as my creative director, Linda. 🙂

    • Thanks, Michael. And thank you again for the deadlines and the prompts. I’m just hoping I’ll be able to do the next one, I’m under the gun with some pressing projects right now. One day at a time, right? 🙂

    • Clar, I will pray you find HIS glory again. It does make life worth living especially knowing He’s always there to lean on. It doesn’t mean life is always happy, but He’s the only friend I can really count on. Thanks for cheering me on too! 🙂

    • Oh yes, Robyn, God is always there for us especially when we ask for help. I’ve been thinking about teaching/writing posts on “how-to-color” with markers and/or “how-to-paint”. What do you think of those ideas? Then you’d be able to do it too. 🙂
