3 Practical Ways to Show Love

3 Practical Ways to Show Love
Love Somebunny

Love Somebunny

Tomorrow is love day. A fun day to show some fluffy love.

I’m not a big fan of Valentine’s Day, but I’m not turning down my hubby’s dinner invitation.

I don’t like receiving flowers unless my hubby finds a bargain. And we all know that does not happen on Valentine’s Day.

But for me, love is an action. Servant-heart-action. A few ways I act out, I mean, show my servant-heart-love is to:

  • Wash and fold my hubby’s clothes,
  • Make my hubby’s lunches for work, and
  • Make my hubby’s dinner.

That may not sound like servant-heart-love to you, but let me tell you that I AM showing servant-heart-love because I DO NOT like to cook.

My mom once presented me with a plaque that read, “The kitchen is closed. The queen does not cook”.

But in all seriousness, love in action is the most powerful kind of love I can show. And the quote below sums up love beautifully.

“To love another person is to see the face of God.”
― Victor HugoLes Misérables

So I really hope my hubby sees the face of God in me, knowing I try my best to show my servant-heart-love in action.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Tracy

P.S. Share the love with another of my whimsical works of work called, “Love Somebunny”. It’s up for sale over at www.tracy-campbell.artistwebsites.com.

P.P.S. What does love mean to you?

  1. Tracy,
I love the new direction your art is taking. The new bunny design and its title are adorable. Love Somebunny–cute. Well done.

I also took a look at your art on pillows. I think the toy chest and bear on the moon would make great pillows in a baby’s room. Nice baby shower gifts!

  2. Glad you’re loving the new direction my art it taking. I’m working on another direction with my art, but it’s top secret right now. LOL Glad you like baby shower gift ideas. 🙂 And I appreciate your support, Linda. 🙂

  3. So much better to be loved 365 days a year than simply appeased on one day. Romantic love has been warped by mass media which is a very sad state of affairs…no pun intended.

    • I am blessed with a wonderful, caring, loving, hubby too. Glad you love the bunny, but this time I fooled you it’s not available as a card, but as art prints. 🙂 I hope you had a terrific Valentine’s Day! 🙂

  4. Cute illustration! And nice post on love. I just read a devotion yesterday about how love means to lower yourself, to stoop low. And who lowered himself the most? Of course, Jesus Christ. Thanks for these thoughts!

    • Oh yes, Tina, Jesus Christ lowered himself the most. Thank you for sharing what you learned with your devotional. And I’m so happy to see you producing more work for “Teachers Pay Teachers”. 🙂
