ARE MY NEIGHBORS BURSTING WITH PRIDE?

ARE MY NEIGHBORS BURSTING WITH PRIDE?

I’m certain my American neighbors are bursting with pride this July 4th weekend. After all, it is Independence Day.

Perhaps, you’ll toss a Frisbee, share a picnic lunch, and/or enjoy spectacular fireworks.

To help you celebrate, I created an illustration titled, Home of the Brave. And today, it’s also featured over at Kathy Temean’s Writing and Illustration Blog.

HOME OF THE BRAVE - TRACY CAMPBELL - JUNE 17, 2015

“Great blessings belong to those who have the Lord as their God!”

Psalm 33:12b (ERV)

Happy 4th of July,

Tracy

P.S. I’m taking a blogging break. See you in September. 🙂

3 REASONS ME AND MY TWITTERS TWEET—CREATIVE TUESDAYS

3 REASONS ME AND MY TWITTERS TWEET—CREATIVE TUESDAYS

I race toward the finish line. I run out of time.

Still, it’s a happy day. At least I finish the line drawing for Creative TuesdaysTweet! That’s the first reason.

Lame, I know.

The second reason this mama, her two little twitters and I tweet is because it’s Canada’s 148th birthday. Tweet, tweet. Okay, so we’re a day early.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANADA - BLOG POST - JUNE 30, 2015

Third, we’re proud to live in a country whose Canadian national motto (inscribed on Canada’s Coat of Arms below) is based on the verse found in my trusty guidebook.

Et dominabitur a mari usque ad mare,

et a flumine usque ad terminos terrae“.

“He shall have dominion also from sea to sea,

and from the river unto the ends of the earth”.

Psalm 72:8 (AKJV)

Now that school is out, it wouldn’t hurt to remind the kiddies how fortunate they are to live in our great country Canada. A country where we can still express our opinions and beliefs.

Before I dismiss my class, your kiddies will want to print off another FREE coloring page (shown below) over at “Kids’ Corner”.

Happy Birthday, Canada!

As the kiddies scribble or color, sing our national anthem—O Canada. And don’t forget to point out the words in the anthem, “God keeps our land glorious and free!”.

Now, please flitter over to Creative Tuesdays’ blog and whistle at the other creative twitters.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CANADA! (Tomorrow)

Tracy
