Do You Have A Marketing Maven?

Do You Have A Marketing Maven?

 Hello, people!

Marketing Maven

I’m ba…ack! It’s me—Matilda. Tracy Campbell’s bee-u-ti-ful blog butterfly.

In case you’re wondering why the font is purple, it’s because I hate the black font Tracy uses whenever it’s my turn to talk, and it matches bee-u-ti-fully with my dress.

Before I tell you why I’m here today, I heard a rumor that one or two of you actually raced over here to visit Tracy’s super-duper blog.

Well, let me set the record straight. It’s “our” super-duper blog, and whether you like it or not I AM HERE TO STAY!

Matilda, what are you doing?

Aak! Stop pulling on my hem.

Do you want me lose my loyal tribe of followers?

No one’s going nowhere. You need me. I’m your new marketing maven.

Says who?

ME! Now scam, and get back to your studio and doodle, or whatever it is you do.

Hee hee. Tracy just stormed out of the room. She really does need my help because she has no problem encouraging and supporting others, but when it comes to tooting her own horn she’s hopeless. Sheesh!

Now where was I? Oh yeah, today I’m bragging about Tracy’s newest marketing materials.

Don’t you just love her new business card that I’ll fling wherever I fly! If you don’t—so sad, too bad.

Here’s a bee-u-ti-ful pen so she can get back to writing another book. She spends way too much time reading and commenting on blogs.

A tacky key chain to hang her car keys on so they don’t get lost in—which purse? Who knows? She has so many I can’t keep track. By the way, I didn’t pick the key chain.

And a canvas bag to lug her—

Good grief, I almost spilled the beans. Tracy’s working on a secret project that I’ll reveal when I’m good and ready.

Now be a dear and drop Tracy a line, and tell her how much you really do love me. I know you do.

Have a magnificent, marvelous week!

  1. Nice word my little friend……….I love purple too. Can’t wait to see what happens when you sneak into Tracy’s cool new tote with her new mystery surprise and head out into the world. I am certain that both of you will have adventures beyond your wildest imaginations !!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Matilda is a darling muse, but you might want to watch her with that pen. She might write graffiti on walls when you’re not looking.
    You go, Matilda!!!

  3. I love the design and the tote… Good for you Tracy! In today’s economy, we need to find multiple channels of income creation.
    Blessings! 🙂

  4. Matilda matches your Wacky World of Writing. I think you should do the writing though since you’re so good at it and let Matilda add the whimsy. That seems to be her area of expertise. Cute idea!

  5. I love the way Matilda is becoming your medium…….no not the psychic kind but rather the :”Paint” for your palette or the “clay” to your sculpting. Oh yes I envision the humble artist with so much to say and Matilda allows those (sometimes inhibited) words to flow. Or course, everything is about balance and it sounds like Matilda could be a force to be reckoned with. She’s awesome but so are you !!!

    • Terrol, you’re such an encourager. I so appreciate all the wild and wacky comments you leave. And I love the way your words flow! I find it very difficult to write about my achievements and that’s why Matilda is important. She acts as a buffer. Sorry for the delay with my response. 🙂
